In general you can say that your logo (bmp image) can have 2 - 256 colors they will be converted automatically !

A: you can only use midi files with: Midi format 0 (null) and one track

A: You have to convert your logo/midi before you can upload it to your Palm

A:	This looks like a bug in the phone's OS (S35i). Just install the midi to the phone then goto the ring tone editor (menu 6.7) and save the current ring tone (this is the one you just installed). After this you won't loose the ring tone when switching off your phone.
